Greetings from Area 9!

The busy holiday season is upon us and it looks like there are plenty of opportunities to get your holiday handbell fix. While many of us are busy performing, don’t forget to allow room in your schedule to attend concerts by some of the other very talented ensembles in Area 9. It is amazing what you can learn by listening and watching another group perform. Go and support your fellow ringers!

We have a rare opportunity this season, too! The internationally acclaimed Sonos is coming to Texas for a short tour. They will be in Richardson on Thursday, December 5 and in Lufkin on Friday, December 6. For more information visit our Events Listing Page or sonos.org.

Registration Information for Summit 2014 is Now Available!

June 13-15, 2014

By the time this arrives in your inbox, the registration materials for Summit 2014 will be available on our website (click here) and in your mailbox! We have a weekend packed full of great activities beginning with the Friday night opening concert by the renowned Raleigh Ringers and ending with a massed ring concert which will showcase the Summit 2014 All-Stars. Abilene Gold and the Tulsa Festival Ringers will also be performing.

Bring the family! The Ardmore, Oklahoma area has lots of family friendly activities. The Arbuckle Wilderness, Turner Falls, Lake Murray and the Chickasaw Cultural Center are just some of the options available.

Early Bird registration (postmarked by 04-30-14) is $195 per person. Regular registration is $210 per person. Are you only able to attend one day? Daily registration is $100 per person.

Members of the Handbell Industry Council will also be on-site for your shopping convenience.
