APRIL 2020
Welcome to Handbell Musicians of America's "Event-Notes," a monthly supplement to our e-newsletter "E-Notes." Each month we bring you a listing of handbell concerts, workshops, seminars, and festivals.
APRIL | MAY | JUNE
Handbell Musicians of America Members, share your upcoming events.
An Important Note Regarding the COVID-19 Pandemic and Event Cancellations
Dear Handbell Musicians and Enthusiasts,
During this time in which most Americans have been asked to stay at home to help slow and eventually stop the spread of the COVID-19 virus, events across the nation are being postponed or canceled. In the list below, we have indicated those events for which we have received notification of cancellation. However, we recommend that you check regularly the websites for events you may be considering to be sure of their status.
To help ease the anxiety and isolation of social distancing and staying inside, Handbell Musicians of America is opening up our members-only site to all handbell musicians, members and non-members alike, through May 30. There you will find the online edition of our quarterly journal, Overtones, archives of Member-Notes and Member-Chats, and a wealth of other handbell resources, all for you to enjoy during this time.
We also invite you to join our Handbell Happy Hour chats, where we have a good time chatting, laughing, and sharing. Happy Hour details and times are at https://handbellmusicians.org/handbell-happy-hours/
Please stay United Through Our Musical Art and, above all, and stay well!
